A fragrance oil is an ingredient, not a finished Romilow collection. Before a scent earns a name, label and place on the website, it has to prove that it can support a coherent product story and work responsibly in the formats selected for it.
1. We define the fragrance direction
The first question is not simply whether the oil smells good. We ask what role it would play: year-round signature, seasonal rotation, event-exclusive test or future concept. It must add something distinct rather than repeat a fragrance already in the library.
2. We read the structure
We examine the opening, center and base, then translate the supplier note list into clear customer language. A dark-fruit fragrance, for example, may rely on saffron, herbs, amber or musk to avoid becoming candy-like.
3. We choose possible formats
A fragrance may be considered for candles, wax melts, room spray, car fragrance, soap, lotion, body oil or beard oil. That does not mean it will be approved for all of them. Each format has different compatibility, safety, performance and customer-use requirements.
4. We test the finished products
The fragrance is evaluated inside the actual base, vessel or formula rather than judged only from the bottle. The process may include scent character, performance, appearance, stability, usability, labeling and packaging review appropriate to the product.
5. Finance and operations approve the scope
A launch also needs components, labels, make-to-order capacity, workable lead time and an authorized cash requirement. Romilow may narrow a release instead of forcing every product format.
6. The collection receives its story
Only after the product direction is credible do naming, copy, photography, merchandising and campaign planning come together.
A future concept mentioned by Romilow is not guaranteed to launch. Final release depends on formula, compatibility, safety/compliance, performance, packaging, cost, inventory and launch approval.
