How We Choose Between Candle, Wax Melt, Room Spray and Body Product

A fragrance name does not need to appear on every product Romilow makes. Format decisions begin with intended use: what should the customer be able to do with this scent, in what space, at what intensity and with what level of control?

Candles: atmosphere with ritual

Candles suit customers who want a visible object, gradual room presence and the ritual of a flame. Approval also depends on finished candle performance, vessel, wick system, warnings and room fit.

Wax melts: flame-free flexibility

Wax melts can offer flexible session length and work well for customers who already own an approved warmer. They still require product testing and safe-use directions.

Room spray: immediate control

Room spray is useful when the customer wants targeted, adjustable fragrance without waiting for wax to warm. Formula stability, spray performance, surface directions and packaging matter.

Car fragrance: small-space continuity

Car fragrance extends a scent beyond the home but requires its own component, leakage, use-direction and heat-condition considerations. Availability may differ from the rest of a collection.

Soap, lotion and oils: close-range fragrance

Bath and body formats serve routines rather than whole-room scent. They require separate formula and intended-use review, appropriate supplier documentation, usage limits and labeling.

The final decision

  • Does the fragrance remain recognizable in the format?
  • Does the intensity match the intended use?
  • Is the formula and packaging approved?
  • Can inventory and production support it?
  • Does the format add customer value instead of catalog clutter?

A fragrance’s approval in one category does not establish approval in another. Product format is decided separately.
