How We Decide Which Fragrances Become Year-Round

A year-round fragrance is not simply a scent the owner likes. It has to earn a permanent role inside the assortment and remain useful across seasons, customer needs and product decisions.

It has a distinct job

Each Signature scent occupies recognizable territory. Business Casual is polished marine woods. Blackberry Fairy is dark berry amber. Rebel Black is fresh dark marine woods. Twilight Orchid is soft floral woods with non-gourmand vanilla. Cowboy is clean citrus woods.

It remains relevant beyond one season

A permanent scent must make sense in more than a narrow holiday or weather moment. Customers should be able to use it in several rooms, routines or gifting situations throughout the year.

Customers can understand it

The fragrance needs clear language, recognizable differentiation and enough product context for an online shopper to choose it with confidence.

The product system can support it

Year-round status requires workable formulas, approved formats, components, labels, replenishment and make-to-order capacity. A scent cannot be core if the business cannot support consistent access.

Performance is reviewed over time

Sales, repeat purchase, customer feedback, product-format performance and inventory impact all matter. One strong launch does not automatically create permanent status, and one slow period does not automatically retire a core scent.

Core status is protected—but not untouchable

Romilow uses a deliberate review process rather than dethroning a Signature fragrance impulsively. A change should follow repeated evidence and a clear replacement or transition plan.

Only the five Signature Collection fragrances are currently guaranteed year-round. Future scents remain rotating, seasonal or test concepts unless formally approved for core status.
