A fragrance can be compelling at first smell and still be wrong for launch. Approval requires more than personal preference. Romilow reviews the fragrance, the finished product, the customer experience and the business conditions around it.
Fragrance role
Does the scent have a clear purpose in the assortment? It should fill a year-round, seasonal, event or test role without creating unnecessary duplication.
Finished-product behavior
We evaluate the scent in the intended base or wax, not only from the supplier bottle. The relevant review may include character, strength, development during use, appearance, consistency and whether the fragrance still communicates its intended profile.
Compatibility and documentation
The formula must be appropriate for its intended use. Supplier documentation, applicable usage limits, ingredient compatibility, labeling and product-specific requirements are reviewed before approval.
Customer usability
We consider room size, product purpose, directions, packaging, likely customer expectations and whether the fragrance is understandable online without smelling it first.
Operational feasibility
The scent needs approved containers, components, labels, packaging, inventory and realistic make-to-order lead times. A technically workable product can still wait if operations cannot support it cleanly.
Financial authorization
The launch must fit the approved spending scope and margin structure. Romilow may reduce quantities, formats or packaging complexity rather than spend beyond authorization.
Launch readiness
Product facts, pricing, photography, website copy, inventory records, customer-care information and campaign materials must be ready before the public release.
The exact test plan varies by product type. This article describes decision categories, not a claim that every product uses one identical laboratory protocol.
